An intimate experience that smells of summer.
Pomelia is the Sicilian name for a plant originally from tropical America, introduced to Sicily in the first half of the 19th century. Its most common variety features pure white flowers with a yellow center and an intense fragrance reminiscent of warm summers. You will find it everywhere while walking through the city, overflowing from balconies in countless pots. Its scent also reaches this garden-facing space, where a large, ancient specimen—as old as our house—grows alongside other rarer varieties.
